Our Evening and Weekend activity programme costs approximately £400,000 to run and is funded through a combination of member’s subscriptions, funding bids and fundraising events. We aim to maintain and develop our programme and have we plans to replicate the model in other venues around Leeds. We are already delivering sessions in partnership with Middleton Leisure Centre, Hamara Centre, Tenants Hall Enterprise Centre and South Leeds Hub as well as in local primary and secondary schools
Working in partnership with The Hunslet Club provides your Company with the opportunity not only to raise vital funds for a local based charity, but also ensure that you are contributing to the wider local community as 78% of our membership live in the Leeds 10 and Leeds 11 areas. All money raised would contribute to the overall running costs of delivering our activity programme. It is also an opportunity to showcase your philanthropy as an organisation.
Charity partnerships are proven to improve staff morale and retention. Fundraising not only gives staff the “feel good factor” of working with colleagues and customers to support their favourite charity, but it’s fun too, making the workplace somewhere they want to be.
The partnership would be unique, as the plan of activities for the year formed by your team with support and advice available to meet your Company’s needs
We can provide advice, materials and PR to support fundraising activities organised by your staff
It is an exciting opportunity to develop joint initiatives throughout the year or provide volunteering support at our existing events or activities
A fundamental part of the relationship is seeing the outcomes of your fundraising efforts. We can hold a celebration event after 12 months at Hunslet Club for your staff to showcase what has been achieved as a result of your efforts
