Activity Camp is programme we run during each holiday. This includes, half-terms, Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas. Here we promote making new friends, having fun and trying out new activities. We welcome young people in year 1 and above of all different abilities and backgrounds.
On arrival, parents or carers must sign their child in, as well as provide some emergency contact information before we start the day. The day is then made up of around six different activity sessions for each child.
Activities include;
We also have various onsite facilities that our campers can use, with guidance and support, including:
This is split up by, a lunch break and several snack and rest breaks. Finally, at the end of the day, all of the children will also have the opportunity to join in on our Camp Disco. Here sweet treats and prizes can be won for the best dancing or party games. All sessions are led by professional coaches, dancers and youth workers. All coaches have also been fully DBS checked, as well as having years of experience working with young people.
We recommend that attendees wear whatever they feel most comfortable in. It is essential that they are able to easily move around in the clothes they are wearing. Most young people who attend will wear something simple like leggings and a t shirt or tracksuit bottoms with trainers. Moreover, some young people will also bring a lunch box for the lunch break, however we do have a tuck shop and small cafe that serves food and drinks. Our most expensive meal option is £2.00 and some other hot food options cost just 50p.
