Ready for some fun this half term? Our February half-term activity camp is back for 2023! At The Hunslet Club Activity Camp, we prioritise different things, including creating a safe space which will enable our young people to make new friends, learn new skills and have fun.
All children are welcome to attend as long as they are in year one or above. A typical day at our February half-term activity camp will start with our youth workers listing our activities. Our attendees then get to pick which one they would like to try. The options available each day can include, for this activity camp include football, baking, boxing, arts and crafts, dance, outdoor play, indoor play, dodge ball, games, I.T and more. There will also be creative surprises this half-term organised by our youth workers, so make sure you don’t miss out!
On arrival, parents or carers must sign their child in and provide emergency contact information before we start the day. Each day will feature six different activity sessions for each child. We will have a lunch break and several snack and rest breaks throughout the day.
At the end of the day, all our young people will have the opportunity to join our Camp Disco! Our Damp Disco is always a hit as we have sweet treats and prizes for the best dancer and for party games. All sessions have professional coaches, dancers and youth workers present. All coaches have also been fully DBS-checked and have years of experience working with young people.
We recommend that attendees wear whatever they feel most comfortable wearing. They must be able to move around in the clothes they are wearing easily. Most young people who attend will wear something simple like leggings and a t-shirt or tracksuit bottoms with trainers. Moreover, some young people will also bring a lunch box for the lunch break; however, we have a tuck shop and a small cafe serving food and drinks. Our most expensive meal option is £2.00, and some other hot food options cost just 50p.
Booking a day at activity camp has never been so easy. Every ticket is now available for purchase below. For each day there is a choice of three tickets, this is because you can also book a half day for either morning or evening if you aren’t able to make a full day. If you have not filled out a membership form before or need to update your details, please ensure you do this upon completion of your purchase. If you have filled out the form before, simply add your child’s name and confirm that they are in year one or above for each ticket.
