Due to the popularity and success of our art sessions, workshops and projects at Youth Club we have decided to put our talented resident artist Josh (with the help of Zoe) to work by hosting an Art Camp during the October School Holidays. 2 days of fun and creativity.
The October School Holidays Art Camp offers a fun, creative environment for children to explore their artistic talents. With a range of activities such as painting, drawing, and crafts, it helps kids develop fine motor skills and self-expression. The camp is led by Josh who is a talented and experienced artist who encourage learning through creativity and fun, ensuring a safe and supportive space for children of all abilities. It’s an ideal opportunity for kids to make new friends and build confidence during the holidays. Plus, it provides parents peace of mind knowing their child is engaged in meaningful, enriching activities that help them reach their full potential.
We will be focussing on different types of art from drawing, painting, collaging and crafting and will experiment with different styles encouraging kids to be creative and express themselves through art, with our guidance. We will be enjoying a range of fun engaging activities and projects but also will be get to experience step by step tuition from Josh enabling young people to learn new skills and techniques.
The day will be split into sessions where we will be working on different projects throughout the day. We will have breaks and lunch in the main area where normal Activity Camp will run so young people will have the chance to socialise and purchase food and drink from the tuck shop.
Please bring a packed lunch, a water bottle and snacks. If your child would like to purchase food and drinks from our tuck shop please send them with some money.
We will be providing aprons but we encourage young people to wear OLD clothes as they may get paint or glue on them.
Bookings need to be made through our website. There are limited spaces so please book early to avoid disappointment.
(If tickets need to be refunded there will be a £1.00 refund and administration fee for each ticket – Refunds can only be given with at least 24 hours’ notice)
