The Hunslet Club is offering free training courses to young people within South Leeds, who want to kickstart their career. We run different courses that offer a hands on approach to learning.
If you or someone you know is in year 9, 10 or 11 and living in South Leeds, the Monday Evening Project could be the perfect opportunity. The Monday evening project is a program for young people. It allows them to achieve a level 1 qualification in their chosen area despite educational or financial background.
We provide a range of level one courses beginning in September 2023 and reaching completion in April 2024. This includes the following subjects: Joinery, Mechanics, Catering, Sports or Art. These courses are taught by qualified professionals. They can provide quality education in a short time frame, where you can start out with nothing but determination and a drive to succeed. Students finish with great social, leadership and workplace skills, as well as a strong foundation to build a career.

Our 2023-2024 Monday Evening Project is due to start on Monday 18th September 2023. We accept 30 students each year.
